Abstract

The article introduces a multi-agent cooperative game-based task computing mechanism for UAV-assisted 6G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). It addresses the limitations of terrestrial networks, particularly during emergencies, and the high costs of expansion in remote regions. UAVs, with their advantages of low latency and high signal-to-noise ratio, are employed to enhance network coverage and service access. The proposed mechanism, MCCM, ensures timely task completion amidst ground network overloads or unexpected disasters. It optimizes task allocation and path selection to minimize average task-completion latency, leveraging the NSPO-MAPPO algorithm for effective decision-making. The article also highlights the challenges and limitations of existing algorithms, providing a comprehensive analysis of the current state of UAV-assisted 6G NTN research.
