Multi-criteria decision making based on vector similarity measures of picture type-2 hesitant fuzzy sets

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a picture type-2 hesitant fuzzy sets (PT2HFSs) and discuss various properties of this new concept like intersection and union. Then, we define a vector similar measures including dice, Jaccard, cosine and weighted dice, weighted Jaccard and weighted cosine similarity measures and prove to some axiomatic properties. Moreover, a new algorithm is proposed to indicate effective of the similarity measures by utilizing definitions of intersection and union over decision making matrix. In addition, a numerical example is put forward to show agreement of proposed similarity measures. In the next step, we apply consistency analysis over defined vector similarity measures to see which measurement is more convenience and also two comparative analyses have been defined by utilizing a conversion of fuzzy elements to type-2 fuzzy elements and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets into end section.
