Abstract

The article delves into the evolution of the public sphere from its origins in Ancient Greece to the digital age, highlighting the transformative impact of technology. It critiques the 'primacy of political action' paradigm, arguing that technology shapes political action in complex ways that are often overlooked. By integrating Arendt's phenomenological methodology with postphenomenological insights, the author proposes a new framework for understanding the digital public sphere. This approach emphasizes the importance of the technological conditions that mediate political action, offering a more nuanced understanding of how digital spaces influence political discourse and interaction.
