Abstract
Musculo-Skeletal Disorders (MSDs) are the leading cause of occupational disease. It is a set of periarticular affections that can affect the upper and lower limbs and spine, more specifically the joints, tendons, muscles and nerves.
The risk factors that trigger MSDs are numerous such as physical constraints, organizational constraints and environmental constraints.
In the proposed paper we will present the results of a short study conducted by our research unit (Research Unit ‘Human Resources Development’ URDRH - Sétif University 2- Algeria) whose purpose is to determine the various risk factors that may be causing MSDs (MSDs) among nurses care workers in Algeria; in order to deduce prevention strategies.
Our work is based on a sample of 500 members representing different health services and different disciplines. For this purpose, a questionnaire was prepared for this study in hospital-university centers in several Wilayas (department) of Algeria (Batna, Bouira, M’sila, Ouargla, Setif and Constantine). The questionnaire consists of four parts:

The first dealing with personal data (age, sex, height, weight, seniority etc…)

The second on the different risk factors

The third part on the different TMS.

And finally the fourth on the various details related to the prevention of symptoms and MSDs (modalities, targets, levels: primary, secondary and tertiary prevention).
