Abstract

The study focuses on the nematicidal potential of enzymatic extracts from Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus cereus against the potato cyst nematode Globodera pallida. The research investigates the efficacy of proteases and chitinase extracts in reducing nematode populations and explores the synergistic effects of these enzymes. The article delves into the biological control mechanisms of these bacteria, highlighting their ability to degrade nematode eggshells and walls through enzymatic activity. The findings have significant implications for developing integrated management strategies for potato cyst nematodes, offering promising alternatives to chemical nematicides.
