Zusammenfassung

Neurofinance ist ein verhältnismäßig junger Ansatz im Kontext der Neuroökonomie, der danach strebt, das Verhalten bei finanziellen Entscheidungen mithilfe von neurowissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen und Methoden zu erfassen, zu analysieren und zu erklären, beispielsweise durch Messung der Gehirnaktivitäten mittels bildgebender Verfahren wie der funktionellen Magnetresonanztomographie. Dieser Beitrag gibt einen einführenden Überblick über ausgewählte neuronale Effekte und deren potenzielle Auswirkungen auf finanzielle Entscheidungen, insbesondere im Wertpapierhandel. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf den Auswirkungen und Effekten hormonbasierter Stimuli; konkret werden hierfür fünf wichtige Hormone betrachtet: Testosteron, Dopamin, Serotonin, Cortisol und Oxytocin. Der Beitrag verdeutlicht, dass hormonbasierte Stimuli finanzielle Entscheidungen nachhaltig beeinflussen und so zu potenziell irrationalen Entscheidungen führen können.
