New Combined Centrifuge for Cleaning the Working Fluids of Hydraulic Drives from Mechanical Contaminations

Abstract

The chapter introduces a groundbreaking centrifuge designed to clean hydraulic drive working fluids from mechanical contaminations, addressing the critical issue of fluid purity in modern machinery. The new centrifuge features a three-stage cleaning process, complex force fields, and a thin-layer circulating liquid movement within the rotor, driven by a hydrojet system. This innovative design enhances purification efficiency, ensuring high operational reliability and durability of hydraulic units. Theoretical studies and experimental validations demonstrate the centrifuge's superior performance, achieving a purity level of up to 5 microns and a cleaning coefficient of 0.95. Production tests further confirm its effectiveness, making it a promising solution for maintaining fluid purity in various industrial applications.
