Abstract

The article introduces a groundbreaking method for evaluating and optimizing product design schemes using the DEMATEL-ANP-VIKOR approach. It addresses the challenges of existing evaluation methods, such as inflexibility and inaccurate processing, by integrating the causal analysis of DEMATEL, the network structure of ANP, and the compromise solution ranking of VIKOR. The method is illustrated through a case study of a pantilt camera design, showcasing its practical application and effectiveness. The article also highlights the successful market performance of the optimized design, demonstrating the scientific and objective nature of the proposed evaluation method.
