Abstract

The article delves into the synthesis and characterization of Ag and Pt-doped BiVO4 nanoparticles as cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Using a co-precipitation method, the researchers achieved enhanced electrochemical performance, including improved specific capacity and cycling stability. The study highlights the significant role of doping with noble metals in optimizing the structural and electrical properties of BiVO4, making it a promising candidate for next-generation energy storage devices. The detailed characterization using XRD, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, TEM, and BET analysis underscores the material's potential for high-performance lithium-ion batteries, offering a comprehensive understanding of its properties and applications.
