This paper is a review of one possibility for numerical modeling of in-plane reinforced concrete frames loaded by seismic actions. Objective of this research is the formulation of one enough sophisticated and, for engineering practice, reasonably convenient numerical model. Particularly, the main goal is to adopt the “optimal” model - compromise between complexity and quality of approximation.
