Abstract

The article delves into the intriguing phenomenon of quantum nonlocality without entanglement, focusing on the local indistinguishability of orthogonal product states (OPSs) in tripartite quantum systems. It presents novel constructions of nonlocal sets with fewer elements than previously known, significantly advancing the understanding of minimal sets required for nonlocality. The authors introduce sets with 6 and 9 members in different quantum systems, proving their nonlocality and demonstrating that these are the smallest sets currently known. The research also extends these constructions to higher-dimensional multipartite quantum systems, showcasing the potential for further exploration and application in the field of quantum information.
