Abstract  

The article explores the development of a nonswellable and highly sensitive hydrogel for underwater sensing, addressing the shortcomings of traditional conductive hydrogels. By embedding conductive additives in a crosslinked matrix, the hydrogel maintains high conductivity and flexibility, while avoiding the swelling issues that weaken mechanical and conductive properties. The hydrogel's unique structure also enhances sensitivity, making it suitable for wearable sensors and soft robotics. The article highlights the potential of this innovative material in advancing underwater sensing technologies.
