Abstract

This chapter delves into the application of novel q-rung orthopair fuzzy Hamacher dual Muirhead mean (q-ROFHDMM) and weighted (q-ROFHWDMM) operators for multi-attribute decision-making (MADM). The authors address the challenges of expressing assessment values and considering the interactional behavior of attributes in decision-making processes. By extending the decision space with generalised orthopair fuzzy sets and incorporating Hamacher norms, the proposed operators offer both interrelationship among multiple attributes and flexible aggregation processes. The chapter thoroughly discusses the properties and special cases of these operators, followed by an illustrative example of selecting an ERP system. Sensitivity and comparative analyses are also conducted to demonstrate the efficiency and compatibility of the proposed approach. This comprehensive exploration of advanced fuzzy logic techniques in MADM provides valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the field.
