Abstract

The article investigates the use of nanocomposites in microchannel cooling systems to enhance heat transfer and extend the lifespan of high-performance processors. Through a combination of experimental and computational methods, the study evaluates the thermal performance of Al2O3/SiO2 hybrid nanocoolants, showing significant improvements in heat dissipation and reduced thermal resistance compared to traditional water-based coolants. The research also explores the impact of different volume fractions of nanocoolants on heat transfer coefficients and pumping power, providing valuable insights into the optimization of cooling systems for advanced electronics. The findings suggest that nanocomposite coolants offer a cost-effective and efficient solution for managing heat in high-performance computing and other demanding applications.
