Zusammenfassung

Die Frühgeschichte des Making-of-Films, der im westdeutschen Kontext mit dem öffentlich-rechtlichen Fernsehen seinen bevorzugten Produktions- und Distributionszusammenhang fand, ist bislang im Allgemeinen, für eine kritische historische Filmproduktionsforschung im Besonderen kaum berücksichtigt worden. Anhand von Drehberichten zu Barbarella (1968) untersucht der Aufsatz mit Rekurs auf Analysen zum Postfordismus und auf den Begriff der Produktionsöffentlichkeit exemplarisch popularisierte Darstellungen filmischer Kreativarbeit.
