Abstract

The article explores the critical issue of on-orbit performance degradation in solar arrays, which are essential for spacecraft power. Using data from the Gaofen-3 satellite, it compares the performance of solar arrays under shading and standard conditions, highlighting significant differences in degradation rates. The study also presents advanced methods for calibrating and predicting solar array performance degradation, providing valuable insights for future satellite design and mission planning.
