Abstract

The article delves into the effectiveness of Bayesian discrete feedback for quantum information reclaiming, comparing it with Markovian feedback strategies. It introduces the concept of quantum channels and the Kraus representation, emphasizing the importance of feedback for coherence recovery. The study compares the two feedback strategies in qubit and qutrit channels, demonstrating that Bayesian feedback offers no advantage in qubit channels but shows superior performance in higher-dimensional channels. The authors present case studies for qutrit channels, including dephasing and amplitude damping channels, to illustrate the advantages of Bayesian feedback. The article also discusses the limitations and future prospects of these feedback strategies, providing valuable insights for further research in the field of quantum information recovery.
