This chapter delves into the impact of collaboration and visualization on the outcome of goal and problem modeling in enterprise settings. It explores three different modeling settings: consultative, individual/participatory, and collaborative/participatory. The study reveals that collaborative settings lead to smaller models with better-connected contributions from different participants. Visualization, while not significantly supportive in this study, is believed to have potential benefits for more complex models. The role of method consultants is also examined, highlighting their crucial role in facilitating the modeling process.
