7. Opening the Black Box of Involvement – Wie Prognosemärkte die Venture Capital Landschaft revolutionieren können

Über eine mögliche Entwicklung im Wagniskapitalsegment

Zusammenfassung

Die Bank der Zukunft als Wegbereiter des Fortschritts. Wie könnte so etwas aussehen? In diesem Kapitel stellen wir eine neue, vielversprechende Methode der Wagniskapitalüberwachung vor, die der vorherrschenden Priorisierung von Spezialisierung im Wagniskapitalsegment ein Ende machen könnte. Basierend auf einem vielfach bewährten Prinzip der Prognosemarktforschung können mit der vorgestellten Methode vielfältigste Key-Performance Indikatoren überwacht und die nachhaltige Öffnung der Black Box der Beteiligung realisiert werden. Vorherrschende Prinzipal-Agenten-Konflikte und die so fortschrittshemmende Expertise Bindung können so der Vergangenheit angehören. Banken und Finanzdienstleister, die sich auf den Einsatz der hier vorgestellten Methode einlassen, wären so in der Lage in der Zukunft breit diversifizierte und überdimensional große Wagniskapitalportfolios mit weniger Aufwand überwachen und steuern zu können. Der hier vorliegende Beitrag stellt jedoch erst einen ersten Schritt in diesem möglichen Zukunftsszenario dar. Weitere Tests und explorative Daten sind zum Zeitpunkt der Erstellung dieses Beitrages noch nicht vorhanden.
