Abstract

The article introduces an optimized power management system for BLDC-driven electric vehicles, leveraging a high gain interleaved boost-cuk converter (HGIBC) to enhance voltage regulation and efficiency. The system integrates PV energy and grid power, ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy supply for EVs. The HGIBC converter combines the advantages of boost and cuk topologies, while the PI controller is tuned using a hybridized WOSMO approach for optimal performance. The proposed system addresses the limitations of existing converters and offers a significant improvement in voltage gain and efficiency. The article also presents simulation and hardware validation results, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed system in enhancing the performance of EVs powered by renewable energy sources.
