Zusammenfassung

Im Zusammenhang mit den oben beschriebenen alternativen Netzwerkarchitekturen in/für DLN haben wir das Thema „Governance Structures“ nur gestreift. Aus den Standardisierungszwängen für die sie durchlaufenden Flüsse und dem daraus folgenden „Commodity-Charakter“ der Dienstleistungsangebote von Paketdiensten und Stückgutspediteuren könnte man folgern, dass man als Anbieter in den Knoten des eigenen Netzwerkes nur Führungspersonal benötigt, das nicht viel mehr leisten muss als die Überwachung der Einhaltung von Taktzeiten und Arbeitsvorschriften und das dementsprechend preiswert zu beschaffen ist. Die Realität zeigt jedoch ein anderes Bild, dessen Ausleuchtung zum Schluss noch nachgeholt werden muss.
