Abstract

The article delves into the application of P3HT:Fullerene-based composites as active layers in optoelectronic devices, highlighting their potential for enhancing power conversion efficiency. It compares the performance of different fullerene derivatives such as PCBM, ICBA, and C60, when combined with P3HT. The study examines the impact of these composites on device morphology, charge transport, and stability. Detailed analyses of absorption spectra, current-voltage characteristics, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy are presented, showcasing the superior performance of P3HT:PCBM-based devices. The work concludes by emphasizing the potential of these composites for green manufacturing processes in energy conversion and storage applications.
