Modern trucks are increasingly used as equipment and, in part, as construction machinery in the construction industry. A combination of powerful, efficient engines and universal superstructures such as load handling system bodies or tippers with a loading crane enables companies to employ them in a flexible and efficient manner. Auxiliaries should only be activated when they are really needed, as continuously available power generally means a not insignificant consumption of energy. However, a high degree of equipment availability is exactly what is required for efficient operation. As a system, the Meiller Eco-clutch represents the bridge between pump operation on engine power take-offs characterized by a high degree of availability and energetically and economically efficient operation on the gearbox-driven power take-off. …
