There are two specific elements of evaluation which bring it in confrontation with scientific standards: participation and valuation. In an ideal world, scientists work independently and unaffected in order to produce neutral, objective and non-judgmental results. Any kind of subjective perception and manipulation must be eliminated in order to detect the plain truth. Researchers must make sure that no one should lead them astray from the path toward knowledge.
