Abstract

Fast alle großen Metropolen sind bestrebt, den Individualverkehr per Auto in ihren Innenstädten zu regulieren, um die damit verbundene Umweltbelastung zu reduzieren. Die Altersgruppe der 18 bis unter 30-Jährigen, von Sinus Sociovision als Milieu der ‚Digitalen Avantgarde‘ bezeichnet, welche sich sowohl in den entwickelten als auch in aufstrebenden Ländern identifizieren lässt, sind Vorreiter in der Nutzung innovativer Mobilitätsservices. Dieses Technologie-affine, trendige Milieu weist beispielsweise in Deutschland eine deutlich niedrigere Pkw-Halterquote aus als dies noch in ihrer Elterngeneration vor 35 Jahren der Fall war: Der Vergleich der Pkw-Halterquoten der 18- bis unter 30-jährigen Männer ab dem Jahr 1983 bis zum 1.1.2018 zeigt, dass der Pkw-Besitz in dieser Gruppe von ca. 60 % auf unter 30 % gefallen ist.
