Elke Temme has taken over as Head of the newly created Charging & Energy Business Unit at Volkswagen Group Components as of January 01, 2021. In the future, this business unit will bundle and manage Group activities relating to energy, charging services, equipment and infrastructure for electric vehicles across all brands. Before joining Volkswagen, Temme spent 18 years in various positions at the energy company RWE/innogy. Most recently, she was COO of innogy eMobility solutions GmbH, an independent company under the umbrella of innogy SE. A trained banker, she studied international business administration and began her career at Commerzbank.
