Phoenix Contact E-Mobility has officially opened its new plant in the Rzeszów-Dworzysko Science Park in Poland. It has a total area of 15,000 m 2, of which 14,000 m 2 is production and warehouse space, and the remaining 1000 m 2 is office space. "The expansion of our production at a new location in Poland is a decisive step with regard to the developments in electric mobility," said Michael Heinemann, CEO of Phoenix Contact E-Mobility. The market dynamics are said to have already reached the new location. The initial team has grown to 300 employees faster than planned, according to the company. Eight production lines are in operation to manufacture AC charging cables, infrastructure charging sockets for AC charging columns and wallboxes, and vehicle charging sockets for the European and American markets. By the end of the year, this number is expected to increase to ten.
