Abstract

This chapter delves into the performance analysis of electric vehicle (EV) batteries using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), focusing on key metrics such as capacity, charging time, and efficiency. The study utilizes historical data from EV batteries, including factors like temperature, charging rate, and battery age, to train ANN models for accurate performance prediction. It highlights the significant impact of temperature on battery capacity and charging time, as well as the influence of charging rate on battery efficiency. The proposed system integrates ANN modelling with direct liquid cooling to optimize thermal management, enhancing battery lifespan and efficiency. The chapter also presents a literature survey on EV battery performance analysis, emphasizing the importance of predictive modelling techniques. The study concludes by demonstrating the effectiveness of ANN in predicting battery performance, underscoring its potential for advancing EV technology and accelerating the transition to a sustainable future.
