Abstract

The article discusses the significance of wearable electronics, particularly flexible pressure sensors, in various applications such as human motion detection, healthcare monitoring, and electronic skin. It focuses on piezoresistive sensors due to their advantages in signal collection, cost, and performance. The authors introduce a novel method for manufacturing these sensors using vuggy clays as templates, which allows for flexible adjustment of the concave depth and interval of the template. This approach enhances the stability and repeatability of the sensor by improving the adhesion between PDMS and the AgNWs network. The fabricated sensor demonstrates high detection capability and fast response time, making it a promising solution for wearable electronic devices.
