When it comes to private transport, nothing outweighs personal freedom, but for the commercial vehicle sector, operating costs are key. What matters to fleet managers is the total cost of ownership, which is precisely why the commercial vehicle industry could play a pioneering role in transport and mobility transition as a whole. Environmentally friendly powertrains not only need to function, they must also remain economically viable to achieve a permanent presence.
