Abstract

The article discusses the green synthesis of Ag-doped ZnO/MgO nanocomposites using Caccinia macranthera extract, highlighting their photocatalytic activity in degrading organic dyes, cytotoxicity against cancer cells, and selective sensing of Pb2+ ions. The study employs various characterization techniques to confirm the nanocomposites' structure and properties, demonstrating their potential for environmental and biomedical applications. The novel approach of using plant extracts for nanocomposite synthesis offers a sustainable and eco-friendly method, making this research significant in the field of nanotechnology.
