Green Synthesized Fe3O4/Cellulose Nanocomposite Suitable Adsorbent for Metronidazole Removal

There has been much debate over the threats posed to living organisms by contamination of aquatic ecosystems caused by various types of pharmaceuticals [ 1 – 4 ]. Although in most cases concentrations of these drugs are very low in water, they can …

Self-Peristaltic Gel-Microspheres Based on Carboxymethyl Cellulose and Polyacrylic Acid Prepared via Inverse Suspension for Recovery Rare Earth Ions from Aqueous Solution

Rare-earth elements (REEs) are important strategic resources due to their importance and necessity for information, biology, new energy, new materials and other high-tech fields and national defense construction [ 1 ]. Ion-adsorbed rare earth ore …

Synthesis and Effect of N,N'-Diphenylterephthalamide on Crystallization of Isotactic Polypropylene

Isotactic polypropylene (iPP) has been widely used in the fields of packaging, transportation and chemical industry due to its high mechanical strength, excellent heat resistance, and good chemical stability [ 1 – 3 ]. However, its poor impact …

Preparation of Filtration Membrane by Grafting of Poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone) onto Polyethersulfone and Its Influence on Pollution Resistance of Membrane

In recent years, the development of polyethersulfone (PES) as a material of the membrane has drawn attention. PES is often used for synthesis of nanofiltration membrane because of its chemical, thermal and mechanical stability [ 1 ]. Besides, PES …

A Thermal-Responsive Y-Shaped Miktoarm Amphiphilic Block Copolymer Composed of Poly(ε-caprolactone) and Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) as a Nano-micellar Carrier for Anti-cancer Drugs

Stimuli-responsive amphiphilic block copolymer can self-assemble into micellar aggregates or supramolecular gel in aqueous solutions if external conditions, including pH, temperature, light, and ionic strength are finely adjusted [ 1 – 3 ]. These …

About this journal

Polymer Science is published since 1959 under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The journal (Series A, B, C, D) presents original papers and reviews covering all fundamental aspects of macromolecular science. Articles may be written in English or Russian regardless of country and nationality of authors. Articles in Russian are published simultaneously in the Russian version and as a translation in the English version.

Series B includes experimental and theoretical papers and reviews dealing with the synthesis, kinetics, catalysis, and chemical transformations of macromolecules, supramolecular structures, and polymer matrix-based composites (6 issues a year).
