Abstract

The study focuses on the synthesis of porous cube-like SrTiO3 particles using a hydrothermal method, which significantly enhances their photocatalytic performance. The research delves into the influence of hydrothermal reaction time on the crystalline structure, morphology, and photocatalytic activity of these particles. Notably, the optimal reaction time of 6 hours results in a porous structure that maximizes the specific surface area and minimizes the bandgap energy, leading to exceptional photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB). This work offers valuable insights into the development of efficient photocatalysts for solar energy conversion and environmental applications.
