Abstract

The article focuses on the development of a CaO–Al2O3–B2O3–SiO2 glass/Al2O3 LTCC substrate material with superior flexural strength for microwave applications. It systematically examines the influence of B2O3 content and the mass ratio of glass to Al2O3 on sintering properties, mechanical properties, and microwave dielectric properties. The study reveals that an optimal B2O3 content of 22 wt% and a mass ratio of 50 wt% Al2O3 lead to the highest flexural strength of 223 MPa and a dielectric constant of 6.95, making it a promising alternative for high-performance LTCC substrates.
