Abstract

The article explores the preparation and evaluation of crosslinked polymer microspheres, emphasizing their unique three-dimensional network structure and superior properties such as shear resistance and swelling performance. These microspheres are shown to play a crucial role in oilfield development by effectively controlling water production and enhancing oil recovery. The study also delves into the microspheres' potential in bioseparation and oil-water separation, highlighting their versatility and long-term stability. Through comprehensive experiments, the authors analyze the influence of various factors, such as crosslinking agent dosage and permeability, on the microspheres' performance. The results demonstrate the microspheres' ability to significantly reduce water content and increase oil recovery, making them a promising solution for efficient oilfield development.
