Abstract

The article delves into the preparation of graphene via a deep eutectic solvent stripping method, showcasing its superior tribological properties. It highlights the environmental advantages and efficacy of this approach over conventional methods, such as reduced phosphorus and sulfur content in lubricant additives. The study includes molecular dynamics simulations to understand the exfoliation mechanism and tribological tests to evaluate the performance of graphene as a lubricant additive. The results demonstrate significant reductions in friction and wear, making this method a promising solution for the automotive and lubricant industries.
