Abstract

The chapter investigates the preparation and optimization of PVDF fiber membranes using electrospinning technology, focusing on the critical role of the β-phase in enhancing piezoelectric properties. It examines how different process parameters, such as solvent ratio, solution concentration, spinning voltage, solution injection speed, and receiving drum speed, influence the morphology, β-phase content, and piezoelectric performance of the fibers. Through a series of controlled experiments, the study identifies optimal conditions for producing PVDF fiber membranes with uniform fiber distribution, high β-phase content, and superior piezoelectric properties. The findings provide a detailed roadmap for improving the efficiency and quality of PVDF fiber membrane production, offering valuable insights for advancing applications in various high-performance materials.
