Abstract

The article presents a innovative approach to preparing slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces (SLIPS) with high stability by integrating mesoporous silica into polyimide porous membranes. The method involves using breath figures to create a porous structure and introducing mesoporous silica to enhance the stability and performance of the SLIPS. The study highlights the importance of the ratio of mesoporous silica and APT-PDMS in achieving optimal SLIPS properties. The resulting SLIPS demonstrate excellent self-cleaning, self-healing, anti-icing, and anti-fouling properties, making them suitable for various applications in optics, biomedicine, and self-cleaning surfaces. The article also provides detailed experimental procedures and characterization techniques used to evaluate the performance of the SLIPS.
