Tesla had only just reduced the prices of its Model 3 and Model Y when word came that a price war had broken out and electric cars would be cheaper from now on. Ford decided to follow in Tesla's footsteps and lowered the price of the Mustang Mach E. Mercedes-Benz also cut the cost of its luxury EQS and EQE models, at least in China.
