The paper aims to develop a comprehensive digital payment index applicable across Asian countries by analysing World Bank data at the country level. Key areas examined include digital financial inclusion, saving behaviour, borrowing pattern, and overall access to financial services, to assess financial inclusion across diverse economies in the region. Using principal component analysis, the research identifies key factors contributing to national financial well-being. A comparison of countries shows that those with advanced digital payment systems and greater financial accessibility lead in financial inclusion. Additionally, the study investigates how government policies, infrastructure development, and socioeconomic factors influence the financial landscape. The findings offer valuable insights for strengthening financial systems and promoting economic growth, thereby ensuring strategic development toward an inclusive financial ecosystem.
