In order to create the procedural model for process innovation with associated techniques and results in a targeted manner, method engineering is presented below as the basic principle of method development. The requirements for a procedural model for process innovation presented in Sect. 1.2 also serve as a guideline. The objective is to describe the procedure with corresponding results.
