Measuring machines manufactured by Blum Novotest are mainly used in the automotive industry for the 100-% measurement of largely rotationally symmetric components in medium and large-volume production processes. Integrated in fully automated production lines, they document the quality of each manufactured component, secure the immediate rejection of faulty parts, and enable a closed-loop control of processing machines. Blum Novotest has now presented its new M4P measuring and evaluation software, a product that was specially developed for post-process measuring systems and whose range of application is broadly expanded thanks to its enhanced aggregate sampling rate. This software solution also meets all of the measurement-uncertainty and test-process-suitability specifications established by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA Volume 5) and is fully compatible with the latest Q-DAS statistical software solutions. Measurement data can be output as AQDEF files and contain all the necessary K fields specified by the automotive standard.
