When developing the Moeye concept car, Kyocera took the human senses of sight, hearing, touch and smell into particular consideration, focusing primarily on the interior. These include visual functions such as camouflage technology, which allows passengers to see a virtual 3-D image of the road that is projected directly onto the transparent dashboard. A small character called Mobisuke appears above the dashboard when in use, explaining navigation instructions to passengers, for example. The interior lighting is equipped with biologically friendly LEDs, which allow more subtle color expression than conventional LED technology. The interior also offers various haptic feedback, vibration speakers and five different fragrances for a pleasant atmosphere.
