dSpace has unveiled the Simphera simulation and validation solution for automotive development. The web-based, highly scalable cloud solution quickly and easily enables computing-intensive validation of functions for autonomous driving, supports collaboration among globally distributed development teams, and allows seamless integration of customer applications. Reusable models, scenarios, tests and interfaces are said to provide end-to-end testing on Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop platforms. Simphera provides the three solution modules Prepare (tools for generating and modifying artifacts), Simulate (interactive simulation of prepared models and scenarios) and Validate (scenario-based testing at large scales), which seamlessly interlock.
