dSpace is launching the Simphera simulation and validation solution for automotive development. The web-based, scalable cloud solution quickly and easily enables the computationally intensive validation of functions for autonomous driving, supports the collaboration of globally distributed development teams and allows the seamless integration of customer applications. Reusable models, scenarios, tests and interfaces ensure consistent testing on software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop platforms. Simphera comprises three solution modules that interlock seamlessly. The first module, Prepare, can be used to generate and modify all the artifacts required for development or validation tasks. In the Simulate module, the prepared models and scenarios are used for interactive simulations. The applications of the third module Validate allow scenario-based testing on a large scale.
