Hyundai Construction Equipment is offering three new EU Stage V-compliant A-Series crawler excavators in the 13- to 15-t segment: the HX130A LCR with reduced overhang, the conventional HX140A L, and the HX145A LCR with reduced overhang. The crawler excavators are powered by Cummins diesel engines. The excavators feature an 8" capacitive touchscreen for all important information, which can also be operated via a rotary selector as in a passenger car. Centralized switches below the display are designed to allow easy control of all functions. The excavators can be equipped with optional proportional auxiliary controls in the servo arm heads. Straight travel with a pedal is also offered as an option. the excavators are equipped with an electronic swing parking system that controls the swing brake function. An automatic safety interlock is designed to prevent unintentional operation of the machine. The excavators can be equipped with mirror cameras and Hyundai's AAVM (Advanced Around View Monitoring) camera system. This includes IMOD (Intelligent Moving Object Detection), which is designed to inform the operator when people or objects are detected in the work area.
