Dust causes problems in many spray painting systems. For this reason, Wiltec offers a comprehensive filter management service which will allow contamination of this kind to be prevented in future. The first stage of the process involves a thorough analysis of the painting process. In many cases it emerges that the system’s detailed settings need adjustment. The next step is a dust analysis to establish what type of fibres have made their way into the painting process, for example cotton, wool or polyester. This generally allows the source of the contamination to be quickly identified. In the second stage of the service, Wiltec takes over responsibility for filter management. This includes detailed measurements, the installation of new filters and the disposal of old ones. When the replacement filters are installed, particular care is taken to choose filters that are specifically designed for the conditions in the painting system, such as the booth pressure. In addition, in order to guarantee that there are no leaks in the system, the specialists from the filter manufacturer carry out the installation. The filter process is analysed at regular intervals to ensure that the painting system is functioning cost-effectively. If required, the dust is also examined regularly to enable possible sources of contamination to be identified quickly.
