Abstract

The article presents a novel approach to creating protective textiles by coating cotton fabric with amorphous TiO2 using magnetron sputtering. The resulting material is further enhanced with Ag nanoparticles and protected with a PDMS layer. The study evaluates the surface morphology, crystal structure, and functional properties of the textile, including IR shielding, UV shielding, and hydrophobic performance. Notably, the textile exhibits excellent durability after washing, making it a promising candidate for practical applications in personal protective equipment.
