Abstract

The chapter delves into the construction and security analysis of pseudorandom function-like state generators (PRFSGs) in the invertible quantum Haar random oracle (QHRO) model. It explores the implications of PRFSGs for various cryptographic primitives, including pseudorandom state generators (PRSGs), one-way state generators (OWSGs), and one-way puzzles (OWPuzzs). The text presents a novel construction of classically-accessible adaptive secure PRFSGs in the invertible QHRO model, demonstrating its security through detailed proofs and lemmas. Additionally, it discusses the limitations of the construction in terms of quantum-accessible security and provides insights into the broader applications of the introduced techniques. The chapter also compares the results with previous works in the field, highlighting the advantages and novel aspects of the presented approach. The main result is the existence of classically-accessible adaptive secure PRFSGs in the invertible QHRO model, which implies the existence of various useful cryptographic primitives and applications.
