Abstract

The article 'Quantum and Semi-Quantum Lottery: Strategies and Advantages' delves into the historical and modern applications of lotteries, emphasizing their use beyond gambling. It explores the advantages of lotteries in resource allocation and highlights the need for fair and secure lottery schemes. The authors propose three quantum-based lottery strategies: BB84-based, entanglement-based, and semi-quantum lotteries. Each strategy is designed to ensure fairness, randomness, and security, leveraging quantum mechanics to prevent manipulation. The article also discusses the physical implementation of these schemes using currently available quantum hardware. The security analysis of the proposed schemes demonstrates their robustness against potential attacks, making them suitable for various applications, including research funding and resource allocation.
